An interesting thing about nature sounds is that people actually like them more than the music produced by a billion dollar industry. If you think about it, music is very subjective - usually people like some genres and dislike others and there is no music that everybody likes. However nature sounds get much wider appreciation - it is hard to find a person that does not like the sound of beach waves crashing against the shore.
However with nature sounds being as much appreciated as they are you might still find some sounds a little annoying, too loud, too quiet or too rhythmic. Therefore I have made this nature sounds mixer so that you could create a sound composition exactly by your liking. Each person is different and so are the reasons for using it. But most commonly people use this tool to relax, fall asleep, study (noise blocker) and meditate.

I recommend getting as far deep into nature as possible for this activity. But, if that is not possible, a mixture of natural and manmade sounds will work too. It might even promote more conversation!
Such a clever idea for a scavenger hunt! I've never seen a nature scavenger hunt focused on sounds. So smart and unique! I also love that you have this sound of nature scavenger hunt in Spanish. It is such a great way to practice a first or second language. My daughter isn't quite old enough for this yet, but I'm going to save this for her when the time comes! You have created a wonderful free printable! Thank you!
Rainsong is a free instrument library for Kontakt, created from a variety of natural rain ambiences and raindrop sound effects, crafted into playable sound-designed synths, pads, atmospheric soundscapes and percussive sfx. It's full of playable muscial elements, as well as useful sonic elements and foley for videogames, animation, film and songwriting.
Rainsong is a free collection of rain WAV audio files we created as part of a Rainy Day songwriting competition in April 2020. Each nature field recording has been carefully captured in wide stereo. You'll find sounds of rain hitting car hoods, downspouts, traffic, thunder storms, bird calls in the forest, and more. After getting thoroughly soaked, we added a series of one shot drips and impacts you can use to easily make your own aqua percussion or uniquely wet sound effects.
Once we warmed up by the fire, we sound designed 58 ambient pads, atmospheres, drones and environments using the raw source content. These can be played on their own as synth pads, leads, and plucks, or blended in with the field recordings and SFX for a polished production-ready mix using our flexible four layer GUI. Overall, Rainsong allows you to layer custom electric soundscapes, perform water-based synthesis, and generate a sonic storm of creativity.

Here, we report underwater backscatter imaging, a battery-free wireless imaging method for underwater environments. Our method consumes five orders of magnitude less power than previously reported underwater wireless imaging systems28,29,30. The ultra-low-power nature of our method enables it to operate entirely based on harvested energy. Independence of batteries enables long-term, in situ imaging of remote underwater objects, and wireless communication enables real-time monitoring of underwater environments. As a result, this method may be deployed at scale to discover rare species and observe marine populations, act as early warning systems for diseases in aquaculture farms, monitor geological processes (such as submarine volcanoes) and changes in ocean currents, and more closely surveil commercial and military operations17,22,31. 2b1af7f3a8
